FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

Where can I buy your product?

Sweetgrass flower is available in BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and now Ontario. Please check the ‘retailer’ section in the menu for a retailer near you.

I have a prescription for medical cannabis. How and when will you be able to sell your flower directly from your website?

This is a question we get asked a lot. We’re planning on being able to supply medical cannabis in the Summer of 2023. Prospective clients will first have to register their prescription directly with us through their healthcare provider. This will be sent to us directly and our Medical Care Coordinator will send out a registration form. Once registered, clients will be redirected to our buying portal where they will be able to purchase cannabis directly.

How do I register to buy directly from you?

We’re currently working on the registration process. Stay tuned to our News section or sign up for our newsletter for the latest updates and instructions on how to register.

How do I get a prescription for medical cannabis?

At this time, your own health care practitioner is the best resource for inquires and assessments regarding authorized/prescribed use of medical cannabis under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). We are looking into providing a referral service for a doctor who will work with potential patients.

what do your living soil grow rooms look like?

We have 8 rooms in total, each one being 600 sq. feet. There are 4 long raised beds per room with each bed containing 150 plants each.

Do you re-use the soil after each harvest?

Yes. After a harvest, we test the soil and go over results with an agronomist who helps us identify issues and deficiencies in the soil composition. We then amend the beds with the appropriate types and quantities of certified organic inputs before replanting the next crop.

When can we expect new sweetgrass strains and products?

We have lots of new cultivars in development. Our cultivation team has cracked several seeds and is constantly on the look out for stand-out strains to add to our roster. It takes about 6 months to grow and hunt for the best phenotype from a pack of seeds and then to run it through all the tests to make sure it fits the criteria we’ve set for top notch flower. We’re in the midst of building a 3rd facility so rest assured we have plenty of the ‘new’ in the pipeline. With pre-rolls now in production and available in BC, we’re now starting to think about adding an extract to our line of products. This could be a hash offering, an edible or an oil of some kind. Stay tuned for updates.
